Milk and cookie cupcakes are a great treat for young and old.

Cake ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 ¼ c all purpose flour
  • ½ c milk
  • ⅓ c vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 oz mini chocolate chips

Frosting ingredients

  • 1 ½ sticks unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 to 2 c powdered sugar
  • 4 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbs heavy cream
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract


  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F. Grease a 12 capacity muffin tin or line the holes with paper cases.
  2. Beat together eggs and sugar until slightly thickened.
  3. Add flour, milk, oil, baking powder and vanilla and beat for about a minute.
  4. Fold the chocolate chips into the mixture.
  5. Spoon the mixture into prepared muffin tin.
  6. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
  7. To make the frosting, cream the butter until pale and fluffy.
  8. Add the powdered sugar, and beat to combine.
  9. Add condensed milk, cream and vanilla extract, then beat until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  10. Pipe the frosting onto the fully cooled cupcakes and decorate as desired.
